Brent started this Middlesex Schools' FA Subsidiary Cup match at full speed and a swift, early counter-attack fell to Fabian Prela who opened the scoring with a strong strike into the bottom left hand corner. Fabian had another chance saved soon afterwards, before new striker Danny Gobishavi Por Asl smashed home for 2-0.
Brent extended their lead further as Danny poked home a third before completing his hat trick with a powerful header from Armend’s pinpoint corner.
Before the break Harrow pulled two goals back after a good save from Casper Lindner was struck home and a scramble soon afterwards tucked away. The half-time score was 4-2
Brent reasserted themselves after the break as Troy raced onto a long ball to poke past the onrushing 'keeper for 5-2. Shortly afterwards, Troy completed his brace with a sublime chip into the back of the net for 6-2. The scoring was completed when Le’Kai wriggled through the Harrow defence and volleyed deftly over the oncoming keeper.
The match was described by the team management as “The best team performance of the season with excellent attacking football, solid defensive shape and a mental toughness to maintain their level”.
