Brent Under-11 Boys ‘B’ grabbed their first win of 2019 away to Woking. Battling difficult weather conditions with the bare 9 players didn’t prove a deterrent for a determined Brent team. Both teams had to deal with the howling wind and the game was played in a good spirit.

Brent scored after 18 minutes thanks to a strike from Captain Jack Gillmurray who has now scored 2 goals in two games. The second goal was scored by Daniel Lascelles whose first goal for Brent showed great skill and composure.

Coach Joe Pascoe said "I am very proud of the players. They really deserved a reward for their great attitude and hard work all season".

Elsewhere, Brent U11 A played well in a seven-goal thriller but went down 4-3 against Hillingdon in their final Alf Gant Cup fixture.
