It has been a good start to the season for former Brent Schools’ FA players making their way in the professional game.
Not only has Brent alumni Tafari Moore trained with the England squad, he has gone on to make his debut for FC Utrecht in the Dutch Eredivisie.
On Saturday 24th September, Uche Ikpeazu scored his first professional goal, netting for Cambridge United and helping the Us to a 2-1 win at Newport County. Another former Brent player who put the ball in the net was Raheem Sterling, who helped Manchester City to a 3-1 victory away to Swansea City.
Numerous players have reached the highest levels after starting out with Brent; we will endeavour to highlight some of them as the season progresses.
