BSFA Stalwart named Vounteer of the Year – Brent Schools’ Football Association

BSFA Stalwart named Vounteer of the Year

Brent Schools’ FA coach Joe Pascoe has been named as Volunteer of the Year at The Pride of Brent awards.

Joe was recognised for his outstanding contribution to football in Brent. Joe runs the Brent U11 team as well as the Middlesx Schools’ FA Under-16 Representative team and coaches with Hendon Youth FC. If that wasn’t enough he runs after school activity at St Robert Southwell School. Joe has been a champion of girls football. He led the FA-backed Wildcats football centre on behalf of Brent Schools’ FA and is bringing along the next generation of coaches, mentoring his daughter Olivia Pascoe who also supports the girls football teams.

Joe is an FA Level 2 coach who plans to take his UEFA B licence next year. He played under Martin O’Neil for Wycombe Wanderers, has championed football in the borough for over 10 years and was also nominated for Coach of the Year last season in the Middlesex FA’s section of The FA Community Awards. Joe Pascoe commented that: “It is an honour to be recognised by Brent. I have really accepted the award on behalf of all of the other people who give their time to provide opportunities for young people in the borough.”
