Brent 3-1 Charlton Athletic White

Brent’s Under-12 girls got back to winning ways scoring three stunning goals in the first half to beat a strong Charlton Athletic White team 3-1.
Brent's first goal came 10 minutes into the game. Good battling from Emma Wright led to the ball falling just inside the box, Player of the match Tyanna Tulloch (pictured) made the loose ball hers and produced an instinctive sliding finish to power the ball past the Charlton goalkeeper.
Brent built on their bright start and soon doubled their lead. This time, Tulloch turned provider as her headed flick found Jada Pollendine just left of goal and she left the keeper no chance, placing the ball low into the far corner with the outside of her foot.
Brent capped off a fine first half with a quite breathtaking goal. Keeper Chloe Angell passed the ball wide right to Jasmine Warrington, after taking a great first touch Warrington drove a low through ball down the line for Noelani Agyeman to get onto. Agyeman showed her pace and power to drive towards the right hand side of the box before unleashing a thunderbolt into the top right corner of the goal. Agyeman almost got added a second goal to her tally, but her header rattled the crossbar.
The second half saw Brent defend with great authority and energy whilst carrying a threat on the counter-attack. Agyeman again went close to scoring after latching onto Angell's long pass only to be denied by Charlton's goalkeeper, who saved well in the one-on-one. With three minutes remaining, Charlton pulled a goal back, punishing Brent's only defensive mistake of the game but there was no way back for the visitors thanks to a first half display of ruthless finishing and diligent defending from the whole team.
