Harrow U11 4-3 Brent U11.
Brent’s Under-11 boys fell to a narrow defeat against their neighbours, Harrow.
On a pitch with limited space, Harrow adjusted to the conditions quickest playing the ball around sharply. However Brent held out until a rapid move gave Harrow the lead. Brent battled and a corner from Dhyan was smashed home at the far post by Le’Kai. On the stroke of half time Harrow scored from a corner to lead 2-1.
Brent stepped their game up after half time and equalised when Fabian put Troy through to poke the ball past the ‘keeper. Harrow again took the lead but Brent’s ‘never say die’ attitude was highlighted by another push forward when Naeem released Troy who smashed home his second from distance to make the score 3-3. Le’Kai then thought he had scored the winner but the ball was adjudged to have not crossed the line. In the final moments of the match, a rapid attack for Harrow finished the game at 4-3 near the death.
