Brent’s Under-11 Girls put in another strong performance against Barking & Dagenham in a double-header played at Capital City.
Brent matched their visitors for long periods but were eventually broken down by the East Londoners,who were South East Counties finalists and included two Arsenal academy girls in their team. Brent eventually lost the matches 2-0 and 3-0.
That’s not to say that the home side did not have their moments. Brent came close to scoring with a fierce shot from Tammy Nathaniel who impressed up front. Other highlights for Brent were Brianna John–Etiko who shone in midfield alongside Laibha Mir, while Keely Dibley- Dias put in another impressive performance at the back along with Sophie Kew.
Brent coach Chris Ampofo remained upbeat “The team worked their socks off and showed great spirit. They pushed Barking all the way and can be proud of their efforts”.

The Brent Girls’ U10 side next play in the Capital Girls League tournament at the home of tHe London Bees, The Hive, on FA Cup final day.
