Brent 2-0 Ealing

Brent’s U11 team recorded their first win of the season with a good performance against a very gutsy and determined Ealing.
Both teams began the match on the front foot trying to score but good defending and fine saves by both goalkeepers kept the scoresheet blank during the first quarter of the game. Brent made the breakthrough after 18 minutes thanks to a nice finish by Kaden who was deputising as captain for the sick Karol.
Brent went for a second goal and really should have extended their lead. However, as long as the score remained 1-0 Ealing were very much still in the game. With 17 minutes to go Jahlani, who had been a thorn in the side of Ealing’s defence, finally got the goal that his performance deserved.
Overall,it was a really good performance by Brent, particularly with three players making their debuts.
