Brent 7-1 Hounslow
Middlesex Schools’ FA Watkin Cup, 18th November 2017
Brent overcame the loss of their goalkeeper just an hour before kick-off to record a resounding victory over Hounslow.
Two outfield players took on goalkeeping duties, with Camron volunteering to take the gloves for the first half, while Che went between the sticks for the second period.
With such a disrupted build up, it was perhaps unsurprising that Hounslow took the lead in the early stages, taking advantage of some sloppy defending.
Brent rallied and eventually overpowered their visitors with Shyon leading the way and scoring a hat-trick.
Camron marked his return to outfield duties with a goal and Miguel and Clever also found the net.
This result means that Brent are very much in contention for honours, with the top four teams being separated by just three points.
