The Brent Under-14 girls squad played their first home Capital Girls’ League match against Regent’s Park on Saturday. Taking full advantage of their familiarity with Capital City Academy, the Brent girls out-passed their local rivals and romped to a 10-1 victory.
Highlights of the game included Emily Danicka making her debut alongside Olivia Henry who bagged a hat-trick. Brent captain and Player of the Match Giuseppina Carnavale shone on the left wing, bagging a hat-trick and three assists. The scoring was completed by Scout Waddington who scored twice and Brianna John-Etiko and Tirion Lewis who scored one goal each.
The team’s next match is a top of the table clash away to Broomwood FC at Wandsworth Common.
Brent’s Under-14 boys team completed a super Saturday for the borough, winning 2-0 in an action packed game away to Camden & Islington.
